There are two times during the process that you will have to get Seven Rivers District board approval. The district board generally meets once per month, and we will work with you to get that scheduled.
Project Approval: After you have selected a project, and discussed this with Lee and Robert you will need to get District Board Approval to proceed. You will need your project notebook and two other copies of the proposal cover page and all the proposal pages starting with the contact sheet and ending with the signature page. You do not need to include any instruction pages in either your notebook or the extra copies. If you added any extra pictures or drawings to your proposal, you do not need to include them in the extra copies.
Final Approval: After you are completely finished with your project and all other requirements for Eagle Scout are met the final approval will be another trip to the District Board of Review. For this review, your project notebook will need to be sent to the council office before the board meets and you will need to complete the highlighted portions of the Eagle Scout Application. Note that the 2 other references on the Eagle Application CANNOT be relatives (Seven Rivers District October 2023). In your project notebook you will need to include (in this order): Your letter of ambition, your 3+ letters of reference, the project proposal, project plan, and project report sections from the PDF project workbook (again, no instruction pages), and extra documentation, receipts, pictures, drawings, etc. that help tell the story of your project.
**For both of these meetings you will need to wear your Class A uniform, with Life rank in place, and including your merit badge sash.**
